How Big will my kitten get? 
Just like humans. Kittens are their own being. Males typically weigh between 13-25 pounds and Females typically weigh 10-15 pounds. The make up of the Maine Coon and the way they are built makes the one of the largest domestic breeds available. 
How much do Maine Coons Cost? 
At the very least you are looking at investing between 2000-3500 for a Maine Coon. That is the very minimum. Almost all breeders require a deposit that is typically non refundable. More to come about deposits. 
How do I avoid scams? 
If the pricing seems too low, or like you've gotten lucky. Its likely a scam. Avoid putting down a deposit on a kitten you have not had a video call on, or a personalized video sent to you. If the breeder doesn't offer video calls, then I would avoid purchasing from that breeder.

Do you offer home visits? 
For our cattery personally, we do not encourage home visits as this is where we raise our family and children. We are willing to do video calls, and even public meeting in order to see the kittens if you choose to do so. We will show you where they are raised and being loved on via video and if you are having trouble choosing through video call we can certainly coordinate a meet up. 

What age should Maine coons be ready to come home? 
Maine Coons should not be released to come home to their new families until 12 weeks of age. Most breeders will keep the kittens between 12-16 weeks. This gives the kittens appropriate time to mature, ween from their mother, have age appropriate vaccinations, be litter box trained, and have social skills that you are going to be thankful for! We are with these kittens from birth till you pick them up. We will do our best to give you every piece of information you need about your little one!
